Monument to Khan Kenesary
This monument is one of the symbols of independence and restored Kazakh statehood of Kazakhstan. Kenesary Kasymov (1802-1847) - 32 Kazakh Khan, grandson of Ablai Khan, Genghisid by origin, leader of the most massive uprising for the independence of the country against Russian colonial policy in the 19th century.

The area of state symbols
The square of state symbols was opened on July 6, 2009 by the First President of Kazakhstan N. A.
